We will travel to teach and perform free surgeries for the patients with incapacitating knee arthritis who could not afford the surgeries otherwise. We spend the last year screening the patients and establishing protocols with local surgeons. We have a large corporate grant from Stryker, who again generously provided the implants as well as numerous pieces of equipment to make the mission possible. We also want to thank many individuals at UCSD and Scripps Green Hospital without whose help this mission would not be possible.
Last but not least thanks to Hatchery's gift of their talents they build us a secure donation site so your money can go directly to the cause! We are looking for your generous donations so supplement patient needs for hospital stay and rehabilitation. Our patient's do not have insurance and have to come up with the antibiotic costs and therapy costs out of pocket. We need your help, please donate!

The mission of the site would be to improve surgical education in Armenia and the region by building collaborations with surgeons in the diaspora. We will work with local authorities and philanthropic organizations and individuals to build a world class teaching surgical facility to attract trainees from within the country and the Caucasus region.
